Jest in Time Theatre, (1983-2003) was a Nova Scotian theatre troupe acclaimed for their fast paced humour, slapstick, physicality and satire. Their work was breathtakingly beautiful one moment, and side-splitting the next, commenting succinctly on the human nature, compassion, and humour.

Made up of trained mimes, improvisers and performers Sherry Lee Hunter, Christian Murray, Shelley Wallace and Mary Ellen Maclean, the company created original collective works, participated in residencies, and delivered lectures, workshops, and masterclasses, across the country and beyond. Over their long history, Jest in Time also included early members Chris Rogers and Franz Rinjbout.

During their 20 year run, Jest in Time achieved international renown – travelling the world from Alaska to Hong Kong to the Sydney Opera House, and resonating with audiences of different ages around the world.
